This week's guests, filmmakers and podcasters Logan Austin and Dustin Bergmann of Crazy Ant Media, are using the power of cinematic storytelling to fight back against hate, violence and suicide through their directorial debut, the suspenseful yet timely short film drama DEADLINES. The film takes place in the immediate aftermath of a school shooting, where a bitter argument between two young women (played by Jessica Mia Pulido and Cara Burns) rapidly becomes an urgent matter of life and death for them both. Logan and Dustin hope that this important project will spark much-needed conversation among audiences about the ongoing problems of bigotry, gun violence, bullying and suicide in our society, and most of all, conversations about finding effective solutions to combat these problems. Logan and Dustin are also veteran podcasters, with their show "Inside The Crazy Ant Farm" giving listeners and viewers the latest news from Hollywood and in-depth interviews with established and new talent from across the entertainment world.
