In this episode, I'm talking with Scott Schilling - an executive coach, trainer, author and professional speaker. Scott has spoken at over 2,500 live events, including stadia with audiences of well over 25,000 people in them, and shared the stage with some of the biggest known names in the business, such as Jack Canfield and Les Brown.

Scott is an expert on building trust and making sales and uses his platforms – on stage, on tv and on podcasts such as this – to help fulfil his mission to positively touch the lives of over a billion people on the planet.

This includes sharing his own story of how he used purpose and belief to recover from a life-threatening stroke and be back on stage 23 days later when most doctors thought he should be dead.

Underlying everything is a core belief that everyone has their part to play in the world and he wants you to take control of your life, get out there and make your move.

In our conversation, we explore such topics as:

- How to put a smile on the face of everyone that calls you

- Why it's ok to be off track most of the time; and

- How to feel better when you're in a bad place

He also delivers what I consider to be the best angle I've ever heard on managing rejection.
