Hour 3 - A lot of good football players will be left off Falcons final 53-man roster. In the final hour of this Monday edition of The Morning Shift, Robb Tribble filling in for Tiffany Blackmon, Mike Johnson, and Beau Morgan kicks off the final hour by giving some people Wake Up Calls! Next, Robb, Mike, and Beau continue the final hour by spending some time with former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, and now analyst for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network Dave Archer! Mike, Beau, Robb, and Dave discuss who was his most hated rival when he played high school football, if there’s going to be a surprise cut on the defensive side of the ball, if Natrone Brooks played his way onto the 53 man roster after his performance in the second preseason game this weekend against the Ravens, what Dave thinks about Michael Penix Jr. not playing in the second preseason game, if Dave thinks it’s a bad thing to be too skittish when it comes to playing guys in the preseason, Ruke Orhorhoro, Brandon Dorlus & Demone Harris looking good all preseason and in the second preseason game this weekend against the Ravens, if Taylor Heinicke will make the 53-man roster, and if Georgia Tech has a chance to upset Florida State in Dublin Ireland this weekend. Finally, Robb, Mike, and Beau close out this Monday edition of The Morning Shift by continuing to react to the Atlanta Braves beating the Los Angeles Angels in back-to-back games to get the series win over the weekend, including a 3-1 win yesterday thanks to a Ramón Laureano home run for the second straight day, and another good outing from Charlie Morton. Robb, Mike, and Beau also react to Austin Riley having to leave the game in the first inning after being hit by a pitch on the right hand, and preliminary X-rays and CT scans being inconclusive with more scheduled for today in Atlanta. Finally, Robb and Mike dive into the life of Beau Morgan in The Life of Squid!
