We FINALLY have confirmation from NBA Insider with SNY Ian Begley that the Knicks are interested in Deandre Ayton and even did background work on him in the past, likely to see if he’s a fit for the roster. Begley noted that while NY has interest, they haven’t reached out about Ayton specifically. But may have done so with the other Blazers center, Robert Williams III. NY has Williams on their list of targets at the deadline. Though, these moves by the Knicks indicate that they could be putting pressure on other teams to make a deal with them… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!
