Today on the podcast we have Peterborough Arts Collective member Kevin Gallagher (aka spypoet). He is a visual artist, poet and dancer. He is also an autistic and neurodiverse individual. Today we talk with Kevin about his life and how he became the artist he is today. We talked about some of his journeys, and how being an autistic person led him into the visual arts. He shares his love for being part of an amazing artistic community in Peterborough, Ontario, and tells us about some of the amazing artistically talented people who have become his friends along the way.
Kevin will be the first featured solo artist from PAC to have their own show here at the Jason Wilkins Factory. The show, titled "The Flying Mind," will be a part of Peterborough's first Friday Art Crawl on November 4th from 6 to 10 p.m. This will be an amazing night of Art, Poetry and live music; where you can come meet the artist. We'll all be there, and we hope you will be too!
