Joining host Richard Sheppard is film critic and scholar Craig Appleby, and together they discuss sometimes interesting, often misfiring epic TV version of Stephen King's novel. Lime-green CGI animals meet a likeable version of Jack Torrance and a feminist take on his wife Wendy. Is it enough to save this adaptation? After that, we take a brief look at the 2012 documentary Room 237, which fills the empty hallways of the Overlook with enough theories, ideas and waffle to overload the boilers.
