Laura Trevelyan is a familiar face for many viewers of the BBC, where she worked for thirty years as a correspondent and anchor. However, her work goes beyond journalism, and in February Laura and her family went to the Caribbean island of Grenada, where they apologized for their ancestors’ role as slave owners. In March, Laura left the BBC and inner words, joined the Caribbean’s fight for reparatory justice.
