Title VII of the United States Constitution prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin. Due to the fact that ‘sex’ is not specified in this statute, technically it is currently legal to discriminate against an employee based on gender. This reality has led to gender inclusion and overall inclusivity in any workplace to significantly shift traditional policies and ignorance.
