This week we go back in time with former Bulldog and Swan midfielder Neil Cordy. Neil reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favorite moments and people in the game.
Neil, a Gippsland Football product, commenced his league career with Footscray in 1979. He spent 8 seasons at the Western Oval, playing 139 games, mainly on the wing. At the end of the 1986 season, Neil made a big football transfer, moving to the Sydney Swans, where he played a further 96 games until retiring at the end of 1993. Neil is also know for his work as a sports journalist, working with Channel 10, covering many big AFL moments.
In this episode, Neil talks about his time at the Bulldogs, why he made the move to Sydney, playing alongside Capper, the hard years in the early 90s at the Swans, and some of his favorite AFL moments as a reporter.
