Liz is the CEO of WhyMaker a New York based organization that aims to bring maker ed to schools and classrooms all around the world. They chat about how design thinking and empathy can create deeper learning opportunities for students to master content. Tori and Liz discuss education policy at the classroom, state, and federal levels, and how simple changes can drastically change students' capacity to learn, make and feel happier.
