Today, a great friend of mine and an expert clinician, James Annear, discusses intimacy avoidance, childhood trauma, and infidelity. While digging deep into his own training and education James also shares masterful insight from personal experience with his own trauma and avoidance. Have you ever wondered why your spouse, particularly the unfaithful spouse is super avoidant? Have you ever felt like your partner refuses to allow you to see them on an intimate, scary level? Maybe your partner is just avoidant to the point of alienating you and other family members? Or, perhaps they were avoidant with you but not with their affair partner? Today James and I will do all we can to explain it, help you heal, and offer insight into why your partner may do what they do.
