Today we have with us Dr. Janet Schmittgen, an Assistant Professor with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy who has a passion for Pharmacy History. She currently serves as Director for the Pharmacy Museum at UF COP and teaches an elective course in the History of Pharmacy. Since this is American Pharmacists Month AND the Centennial for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, I thought it would be great to kick start our season with some fascinating information about the history of pharmacy, particularly regarding the history here in the state of Florida and the UF College of Pharmacy.
