Preacher Stone began as guitarist Marty Hill’s vision of creating a world-class southern rock band in the image of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Hill enlisted lead vocalist Ronnie Riddle. The first song the two wrote was “Not Today” which appeared on the Fox Network’s hit series “Sons of Anarchy” which gained the band notoriety in the southern rock world and lead to the band being exposed to a worldwide audience through the Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man Cruise and the Rock Legends Cruise with ZZ Top. Years, miles, and fate lead to the assembling of the band’s lineup which features Ronnie Riddle on vocals, Marty Hill on lead guitar, Ben Robinson on lead guitar, Johnny Webb on keys, Jim Bolt on bass, and Wyatt on drums. The varied musical influences of the band members create a guitar-powered, groove-driven, sing along songs about real life that is served with a heaping helping of swagger and a southern accent. Preacher Stone’s live performances are a combination rock and roll show, tent revival, and a family reunion. A well-earned reputation as an outstanding live band makes Preacher Stone is a must see!
