Mysto The Magi first fell in love with magic at the age of 12 when he performed his first professional show. He has since performed more than 10,000 magic shows over 30 years throughout the country. His shows are inspired by the timeless traditions of Vaudeville creating an organic and exciting program! As a performer and storyteller Mysto has won numerous awards for his stage performances and close-up sleight of hand. His audiences vary in shape and size, from private gatherings and corporate events to Hollywood movies and major theaters. He shares his experiences of the world of magic conventions and competitions that he has attended all over the US. Throughout his career he has been influenced by many famous performers in all the different genres of magic, including mentalism and bizarre magic. Recently he has been performing with his lovely assistant Alyssa who is also an acrobat and fire dancer. Now Mysto is bringing his “Really Big Magic Show” to the Animas City Theatre here in Durango, Colorado beginning July 5 through July 26 for a total of 11 performances every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.animascitytheatre.com.
