Dear Listener, Have you made it all the way through the Christmas season without alcohol and today – Christmas Day of all days – you are finding yourself entertaining thoughts of mimosas with Christmas brunch? Or maybe you have been mindfully drinking through this season and today you are exhausted and ready to try differently by not drinking, but don't know where to start?

No matter the reason you are here, know that we’ve got you! Consider us your faithful girlfriends showing up for a Christmas Day pep talk so that you can do Christmas Day as you intend to; not as alcohol intends for you.

Today’s festive episode offers practical tips for shifting expectations and finding joy in the present moment. We will guide you in reflecting on the progress you have made with your stuck-in-the-drinking-cycle “situation” (because we have heretofore banned the word “journey”) and we remind you to reflect on and celebrate the gifts you have experienced this far. Don’t skip this – it is critical to offering you forward movement if today, you are feeling stuck.

We’re also offering an AF Christmas Day hack that will give you the relief that you are looking for without the headache and regret. We’re talking about the power of a firm decision eliminating the head noise that accompanies the should I/shouldn’t I thinking. And as always we are inviting you to use mindfulness and curiosity to truly understand how alcohol makes you feel, especially during the unique week between Christmas and New Year's.

This episode is sure to leave you feeling ready and excited to do Christmas Day differently so that this Christmas can mark your merriest Christmas yet! Stick around to the end for our fun chat about Boxing Day and for the exciting announcement about our plans – with YOU – in the new year! Wishing you all a very, Merry Christmas!
