Judi Sanzo, the President and CEO of The Rancho Coastal Humane Society, is on a mission: providing a haven for animals coming from over-crowded shelters, and making the best possible match between pets and their persons.

With the current expansion still ongoing, there is so much more to running a humane society than the public knows, and this touching episode will open your eyes - and your heart - to the myriad of challenges and triumphs they go through on a daily basis. They do so much more than just adoptions.

You’ll learn how they transition abandoned animals to become adoptable, how their pet-assisted therapy programs help senior communities, stressed out students and special-needs facilities. You’ll hear about the Senior for Senior Program which matches any senior with an animal over 7 years old at no charge, so they can grow old together…and so much more. Judi’s attitude has always been to turn “no” to “yes”, never say never and solve whatever problems may come…and you’ll be very glad she did!
