Mike McManus was born and raised in an Italian neighborhood in the Bronx, New York. Heavily influenced by New York culture and traditions, Mike's creative journey began with a penchant for drawing, storytelling, and the art of graffiti, and eventually evolved into a passion for dramatic writing. His incredible artistic talents did not go unnoticed, as he went on to receive a scholarship for screenwriting at Drexel University.
McManus calls art the most consistent thing that has stayed with him throughout his entire life, growing and evolving with him as his story unfolds. Steel has become his main means of visual expression along with collage, and a passion for drawing. Throughout his career, McManus has consistently embraced his love for the diverse culture of New York City, where he continues to create and thrive as an artist today.
