Alex emphasizes the importance of collaboration and recognizing when to join forces for greater success. His partnership with Ambrose, co-founder of the 1937 Group, exemplifies this. "Together, we could build something even bigger," he notes. Their combined efforts led to significant wins, including multiple licenses for dispensaries, cultivation, and transportation in Illinois.

The 1937 Group, named after the year cannabis prohibition began, is driven by a mission to rectify historical injustices. "We don't take our position for granted," Alex says. Their focus on minority ownership and community empowerment sets them apart in an industry still grappling with its past.

Alex's latest venture, Cush League, merges his love for sports and cannabis. Aiming to cater to athletes and sports enthusiasts, the brand is poised to fill a niche in the market. "We're a sports brand that just does cannabis," he explains. With plans for a flagship store in Chicago, complete with a basketball court, Cush League promises to deliver a unique customer experience.

Reflecting on his journey, Alex offers sage advice to aspiring entrepreneurs: "Nobody will ever pay you like you pay yourself." His story is a testament to the power of perseverance, innovation, and staying true to one's values.
