Perilous Pretenders is a husband and wife duo (Kristy and Kerry Cutsforth) that runs and plays tabletop roleplaying games with their fellow "pretenders." In this episode, Kristy Cutsforth is the GM and is running a game using the Bubblegumshoe role playing system (written by Emily Care Boss, Kenneth Hite, and Lisa Steele). It is a teen noir/sleuth roleplaying system in which a bunch of teens are on the lookout for their missing D&D partner and friend, Theda Drake.
