What is Platelet Donation and how does it Transform Lives? | Ms. Seema Ramakrishnan | #reedmystory She is a dynamic individual, with a strong background in computer science and soft skills training and marathon preparation. She is also the founder of Positive Vibes which spreads positivity through elegant artwork, like customized rangoli designs, sculptures by traditional artisans, and tholu lamps. Her accomplishments extend beyond the professional pursuit, she is an ultra-marathon runner who has completed 2 ultra-marathons, 8 marathons, and over 50 half-marathons after turning 40. As an artist her gel pen art and traditional South Indian rangoli’s are highly sought after. She is deeply involved in social work, particularly in collaboration with her husband, they actively participate in the Tata Memorial marathon to support the construction of girls' toilets in rural areas and schools. During the pandemic she ensured essential ration worth Rs. 1000 reach over 1500 families residing in slum areas in Mumbai near Thane, recognized by the Rotary Club thane, her contribution to society has been celebrated. She regularly donates platelets to Tata Memorial Hospital and has completed 15 donations to date earning accolades from the institution. She has also initiated a unique social development program such as donating a newspaper which encourages people to donate old newspapers with the collected funds being utilized for various social causes. She serves as a mentor for women seeking guidance on marriage, family, and health issues. Her zest for life is evident in her passion for learning music, winning dance competitions, actively participating in social initiatives, and managing her home, family, and business responsibilities.
