Around a quarter of a million Latin Americans live in the UK, with over half (145,000) in London. The Latin American population is one of the fastest growing migrant populations in London, with two-thirds having arrived since 2000. Official data on this group is not enough, limiting the ability of policymakers to plan appropriate services and make targeted policy interventions. In this episode, we met with Cinthia Lilen and Ana Torre, we talk about Latin American visibility and the upcoming short film "The Box", a comedy about a Latin American woman fighting for representation in the UK who ends up trapped in a bureaucratic nightmare.
