Author and musician Lindsay Manfredi, the bass player for the rock band Cold, just came out with her debut self-help book, Unf*ckwithable: A Guide to Inspired Badassery, and she's ready to help you become unf*ckwithable too! In this episode, Lindsay shares with us what it means to empower yourself and use your voice as a tool for good. Plus:

  • how to overcome the pushback and criticism of others,
  • how to overcome self-doubt and find your voice,
  • how to reach your goals,
  • how to overcome childhood trauma,
  • how to push through the fear of being honest with yourself, with others, and in your writing,
  • how you can change the world right from your own back yard,
  • the most important thing you can do for yourself,
  • what's it like to focus on a different career while writing a book,
  • where to find light during COVID-19,
  • what to do when your original plans change,
  • what does failing really mean,
  • what the whole point of life is,
  • and so much more!

If you'd like to get in touch with Lindsay, well, she's made a pretty big name for herself, so you can google her under Lindsay Manfredi, the bassist for cold. And check out her new book Unf*ckwithable: A Guide to Inspired Badassery. While you're at it, why not listen to some of her band's songs too?

Now for next week, we'll be talking with writer, Mark Rosendarf where he shares with us how to keep your stories and books timeless so they can stand the test of time and be popular from one generation to the next and the next and the next. Tune in for that next Thursday.
