• Cubs shutout the Orioles 4-0. Shota tossed 6 innings of shutout 6 strikeot baseball. Corbin burnes also went 6 innings but gave up 9 hits and 3 earned runs
• Mariners shutout the Padres 2-0
• Tigers defeat the guardians 5-4 as reese olson tossed a quality start
• Yankees win 2-1 against the Rays. stromon left early only making it 4.1 innings.
• Phillies win 4-3 over the dodgers and will look for the sweep this afternoon. Schwarber hit a home run
• Mets dominate the nationals 6-2 as jose iglesias had a 3 hit night
• Astros blow out the marlins 9-1
• Brewers get revenge on the pirates winning 9-0. Myers tossed 8 scoreless innings as hoskins and adames each hit homers

WNBA

• The Fever fell to the Mystics 89-84. Caitlin Clark had 29 points on 7-14 shooting adding 13 assists and 5 rebounds. She also added 5 turnovers.

USA BASKETBALL

• They kicked off their exhibition schedule with a win over canada.
