Both fighters will be in action this Saturday night, December 9, on the Big Q Promotions card at Element Gym in St. Paul. Medel (8-0 as a pro) will take on Andre Byrd (10-14-1) of Jacksonville, Florida. Demps, making his pro debut, faces fellow Minnesota boxer Andree Reid (1-0-1).
