The Philadelphia Phillies were able to come back and beat the Angels 7-5 thanks to a big power surge in the top of the ninth inning in Los Angeles. Nick castellanos tie things up at 5 all with his second home run of the season jumping on a first pitch fastball. Then two batters later Phillies center fielder Johan Rojas picked the perfect time to hit his first home run of the season turning on a slider for a two run home run. The Win marks the 20th on the season for the Phillies as they close out April.

Spencer Turnbull started for the Phillies going five and a third allowing two runs one of them earned on four hits and six strikeouts. He gets no decision.

Scary moment for the Phillies came in the 6th inning when relief pitcher Yunior Marte appeared to have gotten an inning ending double play ball hit to shortstop. But Trea Turner couldn't corral the ball and was charged with an error as now two men were on base. Marte would then surrender a 3-run homer to Luis Rengifo to drop the Phillies in a 4-3 hole.

Alec Bohm stayed hot, extending his hitting streak to 14 games with a 2-for-5 day from the plate with an RBI single in the 8th. Kyle Schwarber hit a 3-run homer in the 2nd.
