The Los Angeles Dodgers completed their sweep of the Mets in New York after an offensive explosion in the eighth inning broke a 3-3 tie. Will Smith homered twice, Shohei Ohtani had an RBI single and a two-run homer, and Miguel Rojas and Miguel Vargas both made huge contributions to the offense. Oh, and Jason Heyward added a homer to his triple while I was typing that last sentence, so I guess he had a good day off the bench, too.
