Nicholas Maes is a published fiction author, a high school history teacher and taught classics at the University of Waterloo. Some of his novels for young people are Crescent Star, Locksmith, and Transmigration. Maes' first Felix Taylor Adventure was Laughing Wolf, which was nominated for the Snow Willow Award.
In this episode, author and teacher, Nick Maes and Jamie discuss relevant teaching strategies that promote rigorous learning and inspire wonder in diverse k-12 classroom environments. The wonderful thing is that each of these strategies can be implemented easily and effectively in your next class.
