On this episode, I breakdown parts of Psalm 42:11 TPT. Here are the takeaways:
1. "So, I Say To My Soul..." = We are not subject to our emotions or thoughts. We can choose to think better and control our emotions.
2. Being aware of how we feel. We can feel discouraged, angry, mad, sad, frustrated, jealous, but it's important not to sit with those feeling for too long.
I also talk about a song from Mosaic called Fountain (I am good). It ties the verse all together, because it speaks on the idea that we are good because God created us in His image and He loves us perfectly. So because of that, we don't have to agree with our emotions or negative mindset, but we can choose to agree with God's love and what He thinks about us!
