- The department has handled 139 overdoses this year. The Sheriff warns of the increasing presence of fentanyl mixed in with other drugs.
- There is now a 9-8-8 hotline for people to call if they are experiencing mental health problems.
- In-person inmate visitation will resume at the county jail Monday, August 15 for the first time since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
