Sharon Causse was a widow who was extremely lonely, so she went on a dating website. She matched with a man named Thomas Randolph, a widower who had already been married five times before. The two hit it off quickly, probably faster than Sharon’s friends might’ve liked. Within a short time, the two got married while on a cruise. But on May 8, 2008, everything changed. When they arrived at their Las Vegas home after a date, Sharon walked in before Thomas did. Then moments later, neighbors reported hearing several gunshots. Thomas frantically called the police, saying that a masked intruder broke into their home and shot Sharon, then he in turn shot and killed the intruder. As the investigation into this supposed home invasion continued, police found that there was more to the story. A lot more.
