The importance of establishing rules & calling out violations

Refereeing for FRC reminded me:

👀 At first, I focused on the violations and got confused on the field

🧠 Retraining my brain to establish the rules as the base helped me make clearer calls

💪 Prioritizing the rules first made it easier to know what was supposed to be true
