Pietro Vassura (Killeralien) born 30th december 1983 in Italy Faenza. He started getting into computer music production at the age of 15 by producing beats for the local hip hop and urban scene . After 2 years he moved his interests in electronic dance music , especially in jungle dnb and tekno tribe rave music . In this period of time he connected with DJ micron (Italy Milan) and forged his actual alias Killeralien, Together they played on various venues and gig like the Street Rave Parade in bologna and other dnb gig around italy . They started promoting various night in Capolinea club in faenza getting recognition not just as producer but also as local promoters. At the age of 20 killeralien moved to London and got a degree in audio engineering,masterin, recording and music for movie at Alchemea school of audio engineering improving his techiques and knowledge. During this period of time he got his first drum and bass (neurofunk inspired) release out for the italian label subculture rec called Mantras ep. Being in London has heavily influenced killeralien on producing dubstep, future garage / post dubstep and experimenting in a nu sound that is“ so different but so near to dnb Dubstep really grew up on him and he got his first release on the genres : detected gamma ep for the label subculture rec. At the beginning of 2009 he decided to start his own label GAMMA Audio with artist from all over the globe, trying to push a moody and dark sound that comes from his dnb neurofunk background and injecting a touch of garage 2step swing on his productions . End of 2009 bring out 1st killeralien full album CEREbra Optimizer LP getting play from dj all over the globe and establishing more his own style . His dubstep portfolio includes collaboration and remixes with B1t Crunch3r (USA), Mouch (Venice/Ravenna Italy), Phonetic System (Aus - Uk) , Section 8 (Atlanta USA), Dubtek (Seattle USA) ,Met (Berlin germany ), Cixxij (Bologna Italy), Micron (Milan Italy), Third Optic (Sidney Aus) and others (check killeralien discog page or beatport for all his releases) . During this period of time he did 2 remixes for the italian label (nu break electro fidget ) Dirty Drop rec remixing Scapo and Elastic fish and collaborating with the emerging electro producer Blorgio (Italy) and he donated a track for the benefit lp Dubstepper for haiti on Betamorph rec USA. He is currently working on solo tunes, an album with Phonetic System that will be released in 2011, other collaborations/project plus he is getting his interests back into dnb (halfstep mostly ) and vocal dance/electronic/trip hop music collaborating with Phonetic system , B1t Crunch3r, the usa oregon based singer ambur rose and an emerging uk grime artists . After a long period of productions and study killeralien meet up with Phonetic System in london and together they started playing in various venues included russian bar London shoreditch, dusk till dawn Bournemouth and various squatt party and festival in london and italy area . They currently get into dj booking agency for east europe and usa canada.
