In this episode we discuss a pair of down-time issues in Uncanny X-Men (1963) #109-110. Issue #109 finds a lovely lake-side picnic interrupted by a certain maple-leaf-wearing visitor hot on Wolverine’s proverbial tail. Issue #110 is a fill-in, but a planned fill-in, which means it has a bit more heft to it than our recent read of issue #106. Plus, we check in on the back-up stories in Classic X-Men (1986) #16 and 27-28, which also fit in this period.

Our conversation includes some minor comments and spoilers for House of X and Powers of X – especially for House of X #2, so you’ve been warned! We also comment very broadly on Reign of X, but in a total non-spoiler fashion.
