“Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result.”
Accountability is a curious topic. Sales-force says it’s the missing link in sales. According to BusinessDictionary.com, it is “The obligation of an individual or organization to account for its activities, accept responsibility for them, and to disclose the results in a transparent manner.” If you hired someone and they only accomplished 60% of the work we assigned, would you keep them? Yet, we often do the same when it comes to our own goals and intentions. We know we need accountability to be successful, but we don’t want to do it. It creates the bridge between intention and accomplishment, but we avoid it. If we know it’s good for us, why do we avoid being accountable?
In this episode of Black Belt Selling, Anna and Stephanie explore keys to help you incorporate meaningful accountability into your life so you can be successful.
Listen as they discuss
Two powerful reasons to be accountable for your goals.
Why we avoid being held accountable (Ouch!)
