Welcome to episode number 40 of the Halfway To Middle Aged podcast! On this latest episode, we talk about Kanye West latest news, the Popes passing the latest TikTok trends. We are finally over 50,000 subscribers and we appreciate each and every person who has decided to take time out of their lives to listen to us ramble for a little bit. As with every episode, our goal is to make you laugh and we hope that this episode is no exception. We started this podcast to try to bridge the gap between a middle-aged Uncle and his 22 year-old nephew. We talk about our weeks and the funny things that have happened as well as tell stories from our childhood and daily lives at the end of the day not even 25 years in age, get separate a lot of the things that we find in this world and then given episode, we will discuss subjects such as gambling, porn, hub, over eating, McDonald’s, challenges, giveaway, free, Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, Aaron Judge, New York Yankees, MLB, NFL, NBA, New York Knicks, favorite movies, Minecraft, Fortnite, ASMR, TikTok, dancing, trends, subscriber, count, girlfriend, life, family, uncle, nephew, graduation, fun, drinking, staying up late, getting old, And anything else in between. We decided at the very beginning to stay away from the low hanging fruit that we know not enough about to discuss that is politics, and religion. And that is where we are. Toby Keith says I’m not as good as I once was but I’m good ones so I used to be or something like that 😆 J-Bone and I may be 24 years apart, but he is certainly more mature than me already. My uncle and my dad or my best friends growing up and me and Jason have had quite a relationship since he was a little and watch him grow into a fine young man, anybody out there can relate and has a similar relationship with the older family member. Vernon tell tails from the sauna at his gym until one man says that he will pee in a bucket in his bed rather than walk 6 feet to the toilet which we both find very disgusting. Also, he gets very scared and weirded out when somebody starts to pray out loud in public places it makes him think they know something that he does not know. Also public service announcement please wear deodorant if you're going to go to the gym because nobody wants to smell you. Speaking of the gym I should be losing weight but in fact I'm gaining it at pace. I don't know if it's the age or the fact that I'm not drinking this month that I'm eating more but somethings gotta give. It may be January but it's also waking January at the Benedetto house. Condolences to Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Vikings that you can win that game there's always next year. I doubt Sam Darnold will be the Vikings quarterback next year. But it was some comeback season so congrats to him. Jason is going back to college so we will start his final year of college and zoom for episode number 30 which is why we're doing a giveaway it's a nice round number we are super excited that we are 30 episodes deep. Thank you to all of our fans and everybody keeps coming back to check us out for more. We hope that we can make you laugh and make your day just a little bit better. We would love to interview some people and have ideas had a better show as we know they could certainly use improvements. Although the Temptations are real Vernon has been able to stay away so far. We make our Super Bowl predictions since all the playoff spots have been decided and our discussed for the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe Burrow not making the playoffs since the Kansas City Chiefs set all their starters and let the Broncos destroy them. We had some technical difficulty we apologize the Internet was off and on. Vernon has gained back an unbelievable amount of weight after stopping at epic unfortunately he will be hitting a personal record and not in a good way shortly if he does not starts to run or go on some crazy diet. Yes, we really are short we are not pretending. I would love to be 6 foot but that does not seem to be a possibility nor does becoming professional basketball player, living forever, or being a professional figure skater. The duo split up this week has Vernon went to the CMA award show in Nashville Tennessee with his other nephew Hunter, who rarely drinks but when a little hard and had some issues with his type one diabetes the following morning. Obviously, that was a very serious situation and nothing was funny about that but the rest of the trip was kind of a funny disaster has nothing when is planned and a lot of money was spent for seemingly nothing. J-Bone got a new tattoo from his lovely girlfriend Emma for their one year anniversary. Vernon is heading to Nashville this week coming up for the country music award show followed by Super VIP access to on after party at Blake Shelton's old red. Hopefully during the meet and greet he will get some great footage and will be filming live from Nashville next Tuesday and Wednesday.
