Prepare to be inspired today! Today we are sitting down with the incredible Chris Field, founder of the Mercy Project, author of two books, career entrepreneur, and Father. As an individual Chris had the opportunity to visit Ghana on a mission where he encountered children who had been trafficked and sold to fishermen. Leaving those children behind as he returned home became the catalyst for what is now The Mercy Project. By introducing a new fishing method that eliminates the need for extra labor, Chris was able to negotiate the release of the trafficked children, returning them home. Since 2009 Mercy Project has aimed to be fully invested and involved in Ghana. From a fully Ghanian staff to innovating change for those who have been affected. Chris and his team are fully committed to creating positive change in the world. In addition to changing hundreds of lives, raising kids, Ted Talks, and other motivational events; Chris wrote two incredible books “ Disrupting for Good ” and “ A Billion Hours of Good .” If you, like us, asked “ How the heck does he do all this?? Are the reason Field’s wrote both of his books. He hands us the keys to creating change and success, makes it simple, and tells us that, even if it is the smallest bit of change- it will have a snowball effect and create even more change. So hustlers, with that we will leave you with Chris’s favorite quote in order to become inspired to change the world: “ My life was changed forever when my willingness to do great things outgrew my fear of failure ” Connect with Chris Field’s and Mercy Project Website: https://mercyproject.net/ Instagram: @mercyproject Chris’s Instagram: @distuptionchris Twitter : @mercyproject Chris’s Twitter: https://twitter.com/disruptionchris Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mercyproject Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2H7R3rH7q35ZxN58OZh6mQ Links to Purchase Chris’s Books Disrupting for Good- https://meetchrisfield.com/ A Billion Hours of Good- https://www.amazon.com/Billion-Hours-Good-Changing-Minutes/dp/1684263115 Connect with Hustlers for a Cause: Visit our website: www.hustlersforacause.com Follow us on Instagram: www.instagram.com/hustlersforacause Follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/hustlers4acause Join our Facebook community: www.facebook.com/hustlersforacause/community Subscribe to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCCJl0-Mxt3jcLle9_9TEfqA…

Hello Hustlers!!! Welcome back to another Friday of inspiration and determination. This week, we have esteemed guest host Anne- Laure Orosco. We are rising bright and early today alongside a true Hustler Lynn Yap. It may be shorter to list what Lynn hasn’t done, but we love to brag about our Hustlers. From taking companies public on Wall Street, writing and publishing a book, learning 8 languages, mentoring young women and running a consulting business full time, Lynn has things on lock. Finding meaning in a multidimensional world is one thing, creating meaning on multiple levels is an accomplishment we all hope to achieve. Lynn has blazed many trails in her lifetime, one of these plays with the question of “what if young women have role models in business and leadership?” Starting at age 13, Lynn’s program opens up worlds to young women that could be totally foreign to them and helps develop leadership skills, familiarity, and enables them to explore in a positive environment. In these three months the work these women do, will help accelerate them in their careers and push them to living authentic lives. Another incredible achievement is “ The Altruistic Capitalist ”, a fantastic book written about how we as individuals can change the outcome of the world through how we have conversations. Conversations about business, ethics, and how our choices and actions in business will be the tone set for the future of humanity. So join us in this week's episode as we jump in deep and start sorting through how to be an incredible human being and change the world. It’s all about business today with famous podcast guru, professional athlete, and entrepreneur Phil Pelucha. When we select our guests, we have a rigorous process that ensures we bring the best to you. So when we say we were over the moon that Phil agreed to sit down with us… we are not exaggerating. As we dove into the conversation, we were immediately struck with the assured and calm energy that Phil brought to the table. He is an individual who demonstrates the ability to “roll with the punches” as life throws them his way. Medically retired early in his sports career, he presumed that staying within the game by coaching and mentoring would be a successful and fulfilling career. It was fun and kept him involved with the soccer community. However, his competitive nature kept rearing its head, and left him with the desire to for more outside his comfort zone. Cue the opportunity that would eventually launch his career. His only question- What the hell is a podcast and why would anyone listen to it? He laughs now, recalling the seemingly ridiculous offer. But concedes his friends had a point, he had inside knowledge of a premiere sport. At the time, Instagram insights and TikTok trends hadn't been dreamed up. So he took the opportunity to utilize his knowledge and the rest is history. Come with us and learn how YOU could be maximizing your impact with networking, goal setting and achieving a business that will pay off big time. We hope you enjoy this episode of Hustlers For A Cause! Thanks for listening! She never thought that she would walk to the north pole, never thought she would experience the bite of the icy cold ocean with her mother treading water by her side. Yet Victoria Humphries takes it all in stride. This week, we were lucky enough to sit down with an incredible human, Victoria Humphries. Among her accolades are hiking to the north pole, writing a book, running a consulting business and being a motivational speaker when she has free time. Casual. Whether it’s the thrill of a challenge or the motivation to reach new heights. Victoria Humphries is a phenomenon of resilience. In our conversation you will hear the passion in her voice advocating for failure, for getting beaten and getting back up. It was awe inspiring for us to listen to her speak on the memories of a volatile landscape in her calm and measured tone. To hear the account of an unplanned polar plunge in the Arctic left us panicking while she calmly carried on with her story. Even with the 7 months of hard training Humphries boils it down to what it actually takes: Mental Toughness. Mental toughness doesn’t always mean ploughing through life perfectly though. This author and adventurer emphasizes the importance of failure. If you don't fail, if you don't gain the experience of embracing and overcoming the Suck- you're missing out on life. Come learn Victoria’s rules for life, business and adventuring in this incredible thing week. Hello and welcome back to Hustlers for a Cause Season 3!!! Starting us off this season is an incredibly inspirational story that will leave you determined to make your own impact. Social innovator, entrepreneur, and advocate for vulnerable children; Nicholas is a champion for future generations. While working in Tijuana, Mexico, Sandoval came to the realization that while the orphanages he was volunteering at provided shelter, safety, and sustenance for the children in its walls. The long term benefits were nonexistent for these children to be set up for healthy lives. Threadbare clothes, old plastic toys- loved one day and broken the next, and three processed meals a day were the reality for these children. Nicholas wanted more. He wanted to give these kids a hand up in life, not just another hand out. He realized that these children, if given the opportunity, had the potential to flourish into productive individuals as adults. The opportunities though were lacking. Before long, Nicholas left his company to work full time for “Create Purpose.” An organization that focuses on being a positive and formative experience for orphaned children. His model completely breaks the mold of what people expect from a charity that works with orphans in other parts of the world. It starts with basic nutrition, learning how to garden, eat well and make healthier choices. If a child can move through this program successfully ( meeting certain criteria and milestones) they are invited to begin learning how to use computers. Not just your basic on and off, typing as fast as possible and how to sign into your gmail account. This course also shows you how to program, and work that is commonplace nowadays like excel and outlook. The idea is to open more doors than ever before; and they’re seeing results. This week's episode of “Hustlers for a Cause” has an incredible conversation with activist, PR mogul, and entrepreneur Tracy Lamourie. Join us as we delve into the causes that drive her to create a better world, and just what she thinks others should be doing in order to achieve it. Everyone has something they are passionate about. A topic that energizes you to go out and change the world. For Tracy Lamourie it was a death penalty case regarding a young man named Jimmy Dennis. At 28 years old she and her husband fell into the spotlight thanks to their passion for abolishing the death penalty. Which they broadcasted on their radio show in Toronto Canada. Through the journey fighting to abolish the death penalty, save an innocent mans life, and give voices to those silenced. The Lamouries were led into the world of Public Relations and set off a career that would eventually span the globe. Lamourie Media, recently coined, has won accolades, awards, and attention all because of the solid foundation Lamourie laid when getting involved with the death penalty conversation. A foundation based on the strong sense that justice, fairness, and equality are basic rights to which everyone is entitled to have. Her senses most certainly have a track record for being correct, as Mr. Dennis was exonerated in 2017 after serving 25 years for a crime he didn’t commit. He is now back to recording and producing music thanks to the attention and dedication of people's passion for justice. So join us today with an exclusive look into what can happen when you chose to follow your passion and where it can lead you too. This week's episode is a deep dive into Polymaths, individuals who embody the quote “Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one.” Which our guest Dustin Miller has modeled his entire life and career around. Carving his own path is something Miller is familiar with, and the niche world he has carved out now has plenty of space and a well worn path for others to discover and follow. Come with us as we tour the inspirations, motivations, and ideas behind Dustin’s PolyInnovator- a Omni-Support channel depicting his journey to becoming a polymath and the skills he’s picking up along the way. This endeavor stemmed from many years and frustrations of having so many platforms and modes of communication. Miller, like many polymaths and go-getters, took matters into his own hands and created the space he had dreamed of for years. The self-teaching tool has enabled Miller and his followers access to hundreds of videos, guides, and other documentation of the learning processes that he experienced. This entire project is based off of a simple premise, and that premise is that “Power of Choice is Key” to anyone's success. Driven forward by the desire to become a better individual, Miller has been pushing boundaries for decades and shows no signs of slowing down. After building his own computer at age ten, it may seem like this bogging guru has continued to build his life and pursue progress at every turn. So dive into this episode and learn how human nature is inherently polymathic, and how our problems can be solved in surprising ways. Notable Quotes: “Polymathic is human nature. Some more than others like da vinci are super polymaths. Many of us are polymaths without even realizing it.” Dustin Miller “If you can “cross pollinate” with the knowledge and innovation of other areas of expertise you already have. You can overcome and blow past the roadblock. It may seem circular but it ends up becoming the way to grow in different categories.” “#makeachange - wants to help the world become a type 1 civilization- our species is lame and choosing the wrong items to focus on.” “Strategyx automation.x execution= success” Where to Support Dustin Miller: https://polyinnovator.space/ https://pod.co/polycast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8CiDSb1peL5f8XD45ErmnQ Where to Support Hustlers for a Cause: Visit our website: www.hustlersforacause.com Follow us on Instagram: www.instagram.com/hustlersforacause Follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/hustlers4acause Join our Facebook community: www.facebook.com/hustlersforacause/community Subscribe to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCCJl0-Mxt3jcLle9_9TEfqA This episode is sponsored by BlabberJax! Welcome back to part two of our exclusive interview with entrepreneur and climate change activist James McWalter. In our first episode two weeks ago we got an inside look into a fascinating field that has rapidly grown within the past few decades as our impact as humans becomes more apparent. One result of the negative human impact is carbon emissions. Tons, and tons, and tons of carbon emissions. Clouding the atmosphere, causing temperature, ecological and oceanic changes that will ultimately destroy life as we know it. That's where James comes in. Inspired by the impending problems facing down humanity, James created a goal to help reduce 1 gigaton of carbon in our atmosphere. That’s essentially 1/40th of all carbon that is in Earths’ atmosphere. The current plan to achieve this goal is through restructuring our agricultural practices through a technique called regenerative agriculture. Join us as we discuss how Facebook plays a large role in farmers communication, planning and communities. Why so many in this crucial circle become defensive about farming practices and their contributions to potential change. James’s advice on how to become a carbon reducing consumer with your foods in easy steps (spoiler alert- red meat is NOT off the menu); and how you as an entrepreneur, aspiring business person, and passion follower can structure your priorities. https://www.jamesmcwalter.com/about https://carbotnic.com/ Visit our website: www.hustlersforacause.com Follow us on Instagram: www.instagram.com/hustlersforacause Follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/hustlers4acause Join our Facebook community: www.facebook.com/hustlersforacause/community Subscribe to our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCCJl0-Mxt3jcLle9_9TEfqA This episode is sponsored by BlabberJax!
