Welcome to the Woman Christian CEO Podcast Show! This week's topic is: Authenticity In the marketplace today, there are women operating without authenticity. Often fully capable women with real talent and potential, but who are buying into lies. Our society paints a picture of what success looks like and for whom it belongs. To our culture, success looks like people-pleasing until all your friends are fans, and your haters are sycophants. It's coating your actions and words with a sweetener that nobody will spit out; It's camouflaging your convictions, so your image is easy to swallow. The secular opinion will suggest chameleons progress further in life because they don't offend anyone. But, I'd argue no one ever rose to acclaim without being criticized or misunderstood. Worldly success rides on the unrealistic goal of being liked and loved by everyone. Secular truth says to tailor your identity to be accepted. Bio: In September 2013, I leaped out on faith again and retired from Corporate America officially. I re-launched my full- time coaching business. In the beginning, things started off GREAT with me earning over $2,000 per month. Within four short months the money dried up, and I had no clients. Bills were due, and I was in trouble. I knew going back to a job was not an option, so I kept moving forward. I learned how to attract my ideal clients -those who were willing to invest in themselves. I created a solid business model that generates income consistently. Today, I develop my products, which include books, business tools & resources and I host MY live SOLD OUT events. My name is Sheya Atterberry-Chisenga. I am the wife of Terry Matikili Chisenga of 11 years, mother to Rose Kasuba Chisenga. I began my entrepreneur journey in 2004 joining a direct sales company called Warm Spirit. I fell in love with the idea of how they were helping women in self-care and finding their life’s purpose. This led me to become a Certified Master Life Coach in 2009 from Dream Mentors International. I launched my coaching practice in January 2010 without having a clue on how to attract clients and build a successful business. The opportunity of a lifetime came in May 2010, when my job of 8 years eliminated my position. This led me to go full-time into business, but I failed miserably. It’s a movement that helps women discover their Authentic Self and become who God created them to be unapologetically. It is time to be healthy and whole. Yasmina invites women to enter a new phase of life with the Just Say “YA” Movement, by moving towards optimal health and wellness inside and out. Yasmina is committed to helping you jump-start the journey toward your future by following her proven success programs, books, accountability, and services. When Yasmina is not speaking or coaching she can be found reading a book, traveling, at church or spending time with family. She loves to hike, lift weights and play games with family. She enjoys watching comedies and movies that are inspired by true events. She tends to be adventurous and loves to experience life and try things at least ONCE. This has gotten her in trouble in the past but her love for Christ keeps her grounded. She enjoys living life, laughing and having fun. Regina Amos The Butterfly Effect I am the Visionary and CEO of the Butterfly Effect Life Coaching Program. As a Co-Author, Workshop Facilitator, and Prison Ministry Lead of Praise Fellowship Bible Church (affectionately known as Chain Breakers), I know I’m called to help set people free. I am so excited about the opportunity to support women in reaching their full potential through the Butterfly Effect Life Coaching Program by helping and supporting women evolve into the best version of themselves. My professional experience includes twenty years of Case Management, Human Resource Management, Workshop Facilitation and Academic Support to under-represented and under-served populations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Co-Author, I contributed to two books designed to empower people: Change Your Life, The 90 Experience - The Path to Your Destiny and When Believers Become Depressed: Helping Those Who Believe In God. I also served as the Lead Research Assistant for the latter. My outside interests include spending time with my family and attending conferences for professional and personal development. I am the proud mother of three: Bobby (35), Mia (29) and Aaliyah (23). I also have two grandchildren and one grandchild that's due to arrive in June 2020. When I am not spending time with my family or attending conferences, I am helping others in my community. I spearheaded a program that provides support to families with an incarcerated parent. Through Angel Tree, I have been able to coordinate the collection of donations and the delivery of gifts for Christmas and other major holidays. Last, but not least, I am thrilled to help other women, because I was once in the same position as the women I help. I was a single mother of three when I returned to school in my 40s. It was difficult obtaining my B.A. in Psychology and becoming a Kennedy - King Scholar while working and raising kids on my own.
