Shifting Perceptions is a student-led initiative from McMaster University, Hamilton that was founded in response to the rising incidence of overdose deaths from substance use. Our mission is to unpack misconceptions surrounding substance use and harm reduction. We engage in conversations with people from various perspectives - policymakers, community organizers, professionals, and people with lived experience.
