My guest wanted to talk about death and grief, which was cheerful. Getting to the point in typically direct fashion, we go via hamsters, cancers and other stuff to present things one might not expect. My guest asks a pertinent question.
The first several episodes were recorded with a guest who wanted to be a co-host, then changed her mind after doing a few and now wants to stay anonymous. This is partly why they took ages to get out and why there are more weird cuts than expected. We didn't fall out or anything - we're really good friends. It's a shame, of course, as she is genuinely interesting and funny, but I understand and respect her decision.
