Y.G.B. is described as more than just a Party it's a Community.
They pull people together to get down, celebrate each other and honor all things YOUNG,GIFTED and BLACK/BROWN.
The mission is to create spaces of joy and healing for the Black and Brown community of Portland OR. The collaborative is Pro-Black, Pro-Femme, Pro-Queer and centers those identities at every event. YGB believes that liberation will come from art, self-love and community.
This conversation took place right before the 3 day My Peoples Market event on August 5th.
