Jayo Archer is on the toughest journey in Freestyle Motocross, working on the Triple Backflip!

You may or may not have heard much about Jayo. He’s kept a fairly low profile, which is surprising for the things he has achieved already so far!

From building his own ramp to try the Triple, the adjustments, trying to work out the exit angles where the ramp is almost vertical, looking for more height out of the jump, different gaps and anything else that will help get the Triple Flip sorted on a much smaller ramp than what Sheeny landed it on 5 years ago.

Being taught by Cam Sinclair as a youngster, invited to work on the Triple Backflip at Travis Pastrana's house, landing the Double Backflip in a competition on a borrowed bike (not even the same brand!) and doing it all while still working a normal job with up to 12 hours a day in Civil Construction!

Jayo has some huge plans, so let’s see if we can extract some of those plans out of him in this interview and see what he’s up too. But I think you’ll agree after listening to this interview with one of Australia’s brightest stars, that the “low-profile” will probably be a thing of the past soon enough.
