The Dean of DSCR!
Whoa! We have celebrity guest, Jeff Ball on today's episode! He, and his company Visio Lending, are the pioneers of the DSCR Loan that has changed the way investors finance their short-term, mid-term, and long-term rentals. DSCR loans offer a variety of advantages over Agency (Fannie/Freddie) investment property loans and bank portfolio term loans. Here are a few: (1) qualify based on property level cash flow rather than person DTI (perfect for self-employed, or part-time employed and offers lower documentation requirements with no W-2s or tax returns required); (2) finance in a corporate entity to shield other assets; (3) only prove cash reserves on the current loan being financed; and (4) higher loan concentration limits. Jeff Ball serves as the CEO of Visio Lending, the nation’s leading lender for DSCR loans. He is responsible for setting Visio's overall strategy and direction. Prior to forming Visio Lending, he founded Visio's predecessor company, Econohomes. Jeff previously served as the Global Head of Semiconductor Investment Banking at JP Morgan, where his clients included some of the largest technology companies in the world, including Intel and Texas Instruments. Before JP Morgan, Jeff was a corporate securities attorney at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper). Jeff received his JD and MBA from Santa Clara University. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Theology from Georgetown University.
