What food we choose to eat doesn't only nourish our body, but it also affects the functioning of our brain. Want to learn how to find health and healing in your kitchen? So let's jump right in.
In this episode, I'm joined by Lauren Marino who comes from an Italian family, where food is a huge part of the culture. Before becoming a dietitian, Lauren had her battles with an eating disorder, was a national elite runner, and tried being a vegan for a little while. After learning from her younger years, Lauren now works to help people improve their diets - with foods to nourish the mind. We will learn about how we can change the course of the way we eat and how staying on top of our nutrition is key for the wellbeing of our mind and body. And also we get to learn how to meal plan and some insider tips on what fruits and vegetables don't need peeling to optimise its health benefits and reduce food waste.
