Einleitung/Introduction/Uvod

Der Blick über den Tellerrand lohnt sich auch als Ergotherapeut oder Ergotherapeutin immer wieder: Einerseits um sich selbst und seine berufliche Identität zu hinterfragen beziehungsweise zu erweitern und andererseits um sein eigenes Bezugssystem mit jenem zu vergleichen, das in anderen Ländern vorhanden ist – wir blicken mit diesem Podcast tief in die ergotherapeutische Landschaft Sloweniens und zwar von Ljubljana aus. Ich war im April 2013 zu Gast an der Fakultät für Gesundheitswissenschaften an der Universität Laibach und habe mit Tanja Križaj ausführlich über Ergotherapie in Slowenien gesprochen. As an Occupational Therapist it usually is always rewarding to broaden the own horizon: not only to reflect and enhance the own professional identity, but also to put the own framework in context to that, which colleagues in other countries are operating in – with this podcast, which was recorded in April 2013 at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ljubljana with Tanja Križaj, we’re looking deeply into the Occupational Therapy “landscape” in Slovenia from the beginnings of the profession in the 1960s as far as the current current situation after the successful completion of the Bologna Process.

Za delovnega terapevta je vedno zelo koristno da razširi svoje lastno znanje. To ne pomeni, da razmišlja in izboljša svojo lastno poklicno identiteto, ampak da ji da tudi svoj prispevek. Prispevek v kontekstu, s katerim si bodo potem lahko pomagali tudi njegovi kolegi v drugih državah.

V intervjuju s Tanjo Križaj, ki je bil posnet aprila 2013 na Zdravstveni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani lahko natančno vidimo kako je z delovno terapijo v Sloveniji. Lahko spoznamo začetke delovne terapije, ki segajo v šestdeseta leta 20 stoletja in pa vidimo trenutno stanje po uspešeni izvedbi Bolonjskega sistema izobraževanja.

Tanja Križaj ist zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme Lehrassistentin im Studiengang Ergotherapie an der Fakultät für Gesundheitswissenschaften der Universität Laibach, hat neben ihrem Bakkalaureatsabschluss einen Mastertitel der Universität von Plymouth vorzuweisen und befindet sich gerade mitten in ihrem Studium zum PhD, ebenfalls in Plymouth. Zusätzlich ist sie Gründungsmitglied des Studienkreises Ergotherapie Slowenien, einer Initiative, die es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat die Wahrnehmung des Berufs in Slowenien zu erhöhen beziehungsweise zu fördern, zum Beispiel durch die Organisation des Seminars Building a Mosaic of Health and Well-Being with Occupational Therapy in Bled im August 2013.

At the time of the recording Tanja Križaj is working as an assistant lecturer at the Occupational Therapy department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ljubljana. She is holding both a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy – the latter acquired at the University of Plymouth/UK – and is currently halfway through her PhD-Studies, also in Plymouth. Additionally she’s a founding member of the Study Circle OT, a slovenian initiative to promote Occupational Therapy in the public perception, i.e. through organizing the seminar Building a Mosaic of Health and Well-Being with Occupational Therapy in August 2013 in Bled and various other activities.

V času nastanka tega intervjuja je bila Tanja Križaj zaposlena kot asistentka na oddelku za delovno terapijo na Zdravstveni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Ima diplomo in magisterij iz delovne terapije. Magistrski naslov si je pridobila na univerzi v Plymouthu v Veliki Britaniji.Trenutno je opravila že polovico svojega doktorskega študija, prav tako v Plymouthu. Poleg tega je med ustanovitelji Študijskega krožka Delovna terapija. To je slovenska pobuda za promocijo delovne terapije širši javnosti. Trenutno študijski krožek organizira seminar v avgustu 2013 na Bledu z naslovom Gradimo mozaik zdravja in dobrega počutja s pomočjo delovne terapijein številne druge aktivnosti.

Beginning with the personal development of Tanja Križaj and accentuated with springlike bird’s twittering the arc of the conversation spans the following topics: distance learning in Plymouth, introduction and roots of Occupational Therapy in Slovenia, development of Occupational Therapy as a profession over the course of time, current and future challenges in professional development and society, education of students over the course of time, implementation of the Bologna Process, duration of the education, graduation and consecutive apprenticeship and additional exams, amount of theoretical and practical training during the education, education opportunities and number of students, drop-out-rates, future challenges of education in Occupational Therapy, Study Circle OT, aims and goals of the Study Circle OT, Occupational Therapy-seminar in Bled.

Začne se z opisom poklicne poti Tanje Križaj, v ozadju pa slišimo petje ptic. Pogovor teče o naslednjih temah: učenje na daljavo v Plymouthu, začetek in korenine delovne terapije v Sloveniji, razvoj delovne terapije kot poklica skozi čas, trenutni in bodoči izzivi v razvoju stroke in družbe, izobraževanje študentov delovne terapije, uresničevanje Bolonjskega procesa, trajanje izobraževanja, diploma in pripravništvo. Intervju govori o tem koliko izpitov je potrebno opraviti, kolikšna je količina teoretičnega in praktičnega usposabljanja med izobraževanjem, možnosti za izobraževanje, govori o številu študentov, kakšen je odstotek študentov ki ne konča študija, govori o izzivih za izobraževanje na področju delovne terapije. Prispevek govori še o Študijskem krožku Delovna terapija, o željah in ciljih ter o seminarju Gradimo mozaik zdravja in dobrega počutja s pomočjo delovne terapije na Bledu.

Fazit/Conclusion/Zakljucek

Abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass Tanja mit sehr guten Englischkenntnissen und perfekter Aussprache aufwarten kann, ist sie ebenso eine lebendige Gesprächspartnerin – freut euch mit mir über ein kurzweiliges Gespräch mit vielen interessanten Details und tiefen Einblicken in die Berufskultur eines österreichischen Nachbarlandes – definitive Hörempfehlung!

Apart from the fact that Tanja speaks a wonderful English with perfect pronunciation and a broad range of vocabulary, she’s also a very vivid conversationist – a very diverting conversation with lots of interesting details and deep insights about the professional culture of one of Austria’s neighboring countries awaits the listeners – highly recommendable!

Poleg dejstva, da Tanja govori briljantno angleščino in ima izjemen naglas in široko besedišče, je zelo prijetna in živahna sogovornica, lahko sva se pogovarjala o zelo različnih stvareh, kjer je navedla veliko zanimivih podrobnosti o delovni terapiji v Sloveniji – Toplo priporočamo!
