If people don't see you, hear you or know that you exist they can't find you. If your ideal client doesn't know you can solve their problem, they can't hire you. In order to get more business, you need to not only get out there in the world, but in the right places so that you can become known by your ideal client.
Your ideal client is PART of your niche, along with what you are really good at doing, what problem you help solve, and how you solve that problem. The more you know about whom you serve, (age, profession, etc.), what their biggest pain point is, how you serve them, where they hang out, where they get their sources of information, how to evoke emotion in them, the more likely you will reach them, understand them to market your offers well to them.
