Martin E. Hellman is Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. A graduate of New York University, Martin went on to earn both a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford. He is the author of over 70 technical papers, holder of 12 U.S. patents, co-inventor of public key cryptography, and the 2015 Turing Award recipient.
